November 6, 2013 - KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI
Tomorrow, Kansas City Mayor Sly James and the City Council will dedicate the future site of the streetcar vehicle maintenance facility in honor of a lifelong transit advocate. Construction on the facility is scheduled to begin in the Spring of 2014 and is slated for completion during Spring 2015.
Following the dedication event at the 3rd Street and Holmes Street site, the City Council will recognize the honoree during Legislative Session at 3 pm.
