“More than ever, it’s important that the City of Kansas City continue to move forward in spite of national level discourse and politics. We must focus on the things that make us stronger and more united rather than on things that weaken the common ground we do have.

I’ll be reaching out to Governor-Elect Greitens to congratulate him on a hard fought campaign and to explore ways in which we can work together to make Kansas City and the State of Missouri stronger.

Senator Blunt has been a partner to the City in many ways and now that the campaign is behind us, I look forward to working with him and his staff to continue the momentum our City has enjoyed for five years.”
