This announcement will center around the $20 million TIGER federal grant awarded to Kansas City and the need for infrastructure investment. Further details on the grant are available here: http://www.dot.gov/tiger .  The grant process was an extremely competitive one – and the award of these dollars to Kansas City is a major economic boost and vote of confidence for Kansas City.
