The City of Kansas City, in conjunction with the Mayor’s Challenge Cabinet and the Chief Innovation Officer, is currently accepting submissions for the KCMO Ideas Fair.
This event will bring together community leaders and volunteers from across the city to discuss best practices and exchange ideas for community development.
The City welcomes a range of projects – including those addressing public health, sustainability, new uses of media and technology, neighborhood organizing, community art projects, crime prevention, and many more! If your neighborhood or organization has done something to improve your community, we want to hear about it.
The Ideas Fair will be on October 26 from 9AM-1PM at the Central Library and will include a discussion with Mayor Sly James about our neighborhoods, curbside consulting with City departments, and great information about other community resources.
CLICK HERE to submit an application by Monday, September 23. The best projects will be invited to exhibit at the Ideas Fair and be recognized for their impact on the community.
